But, dear reader, I must very humbly confess
In poetry, for sure, I’m but an amateur!
But it does not matter, kind Madam or dear Sir,
If, quibbling, you demure that you're a connoisseur
Of Shakespeare’s stanzas, or poetry that’s more pure!
Even though my poems may fail a critic’s test,
And such may yet protest that I’m “fudging” at best...
Be encouraged to read and enjoy nonetheless!
Take time out to digest, and, I pray, and suggest,
That you’ll be greatly blessed in the reading process:
